Our enamel signs
Enamel signs
The enamel plate was the road companion for vehicles during the first half of the 20th century with regular use until the late 1960s.
Used as well for road signs (direction arrows, street signs, house numbers), it marked the spirits through the advertisements which were affixed outside of businesses and houses.
The museum currently has around 170 enamel signs, signs or advertising.
